Making the site accessible

How to change browser default settings for zoom, font size and colours

You may change the display font size, text colour and default zoom to your preference using your browser's settings:

Microsoft Edge users:

Select Menu > Settings > Appearance

Google Chrome users:

Select Menu > Settings > Appearance

Mozilla Firefox users:

Select Menu > General > Language and Appearance

Opera users:

Select Tools > Preferences > Web pages > Normal font then your chosen size

Safari users:

Select Safari > Preferences > Appearance then your chosen font and size

You can use your keyboard to browse this website.

The 'tab' and 'shift + tab' keys can be used to navigate through links and form controls, and 'Enter' can be used to activate links, buttons, or other interactive elements. 

 

Layout

To conform to W3 accessibility guidelines, cascading style sheets have been used to create the layout of this site. However, the functionality and content are independent of this technology and users may disable the default style sheets to maximise flexibility with font resizing or implement their own style sheets in their browser preferences.

How do I access the Recite Me toolbar?

You can open the Recite Me Accessibility Toolbar by clicking on the Accessibility button in the bottom right corner of the page.

This button appears in the bottom right corner of every page of our website.

After you click on the Accessibility button, the Recite Me toolbar opens and displays a range of different options for customising the way the website looks and ways you can interact with the content.

To Close the Recite Me toolbar simply click on the icon marked “Close” to the right of the Toolbar.
