SSE Hydro Deal Announced

AG Barr celebrated becoming the Official Soft Drinks Partner of the SSE Hydro with a phenomenal late night projection onto the iconic Clyde skyline.

A.G. Barr has been announced as the Official Soft Drink Partner of the SSE Hydro, celebrating the deal with a phenomenal late night projection onto the iconic Clyde skyline.

The skyline was turned orange and blue, with Scotland’s favourite soft drink projected onto the Glasgow Armadillo – which will light up again for one night only tomorrow night (Tuesday, 1 March).

Both founded on strength, craftsmanship and graft, the two Clydebuilt icons have come together in a fiveyear deal which will see the A.G. Barr range of brands – including IRN-BRU, Scotland’s favourite soft drink, Strathmore Water, Rockstar, Rubicon and Barr Flavours – support Scotland’s busiest and favourite entertainment venue.

We’re extremely proud to be announced as the official soft drink partner of the SSE Hydro. This is a partnership between two great Scottish brands so it felt right to mark it in a bold, very IRN-BRU style with this unique projection. Visitors to the SSE Hydro will now be able to toast their favourite artists, performers and sports stars with a BRU - or indeed with another of the wide variety of Barr’s drinks on offer too!
