Chris Green MP opens new look Middlebrook

Chris Green, MP for Bolton West, opens newly refurbished offices following a £92,000 investment in the site.

Chris Green, MP for Bolton West, opened newly refurbished facilities at A.G. Barr’s Middlebrook office today following the firm’s £92,000 investment in the site.

The move reinforces the long-term commitment to the local and surrounding community by AG Barr, which achieved sales in excess of £260 million in 2014 and is the UK’s leading
independent soft drinks business. The company’s portfolio of iconic brands includes IRNBRU, Rubicon, Strathmore Water, Tizer, D’n’B and Barr Flavours.

The office refit will improve the working environment for over 80 Barr employees who are based at the site, working in Sales, Commercial Delivery, Marketing, IT, Consumer Care, Packaging, Customer Services and Research and Development.

AG Barr has operated in the area for nearly 50 years, and having been in the Middlebrook offices for over 10 years now, we felt that the time was right to invest in refreshing the facilities, ensuring that the location remains a great place to work both now and in the future.
