FUNKIN was founded by Alex Carlton, who started by selling smoothie mixes that transformed into high-quality Fruit Purées sold to London bars and restaurants from the back of a Smart Car.
This included the original passion fruit purée used in the iconic Pornstar Martini recipe by Douglas Ankrah in 2002 at The Townhouse, Knightsbridge, making FUNKIN the high-quality, go-to source for cocktail ingredients.
In 2019, we launched our at-home, bar-quality nitrogen cocktail range to bring all the fun from bars and restaurants to homes. Since then, we have been shaking it up and making great-tasting cocktails available everywhere, such as our classic and well-loved, nitrogen-infused Passion Fruit Martini.
