A fabulous opportunity has arisen for an experienced Accountant to join our Commercial Finance team as Commercial Finance Controller for a period of 12 months to cover maternity leave.

 

Reporting to the Finance Director, this specialist role will provide key financial and decision support to our Commercial function. The Finance Controller will maintain best practice in financial stewardship by managing the team's performance against the agreed business plan, enhancing profitability whilst building long term brand equity by influencing the investment and expenditure of the Commercial unit.

 

This role plays a key part within the Commercial management team, as well as being a Business Partner to Sales Controllers and Sales Director(s). The role will be focussed on delivering insight, via producing and reviewing financial evaluations to influence, support and assist management decisions on the development of the business. Providing management information for 3YP budget and quarterly forecasts relating to Net revenue, Gross margin and Commercial contribution. Leading the development of the annual budget and 6+6 process, ensuring accurate and evidence based budget assumptions supported by the Commercial and Finance teams.

 

To be considered for this role you must be qualified accountant and will have extensive post qualified experience and knowledge in a Financial environment, supporting commercial functions, with considerable experience working with complex financial systems, preferably ERP based. The ideal candidate will possess great communication skills and have a proven track record of being able to present to and influence senior management, as well as work effectively with other business functions.
