Quality

Since 1875 when the business was established we have always used high quality ingredients and take the quality and safety of our products very seriously following at all times relevant government regulations.

Safety

Consumers are able to enjoy our soft drinks knowing that they are safe to drink. All ingredients used in our products are authorised as safe in use and independently varified by the Food Standards Agency (FSA).

Additives

Additives have a fundamental role in food products. Additives can enhance flavour, increase safety and improve the appeal of food. They may only be used if they have been specifically approved, and the level of use permitted is strictly regulated. The use of additives in all foods is strictly controlled throughout Europe and kept under constant review. In the UK intake of additives is carefully monitored by the FSA to ensure that usage and intake remain within safe limits.

The 'E' in 'E' numbers means that the ingredient has been fully approved by the regulatory bodies.
